Improving first-line decision-making and multidisciplinary approach in advanced urothelial carcinoma

To enhance healthcare professionals’ knowledge, clinical competence and confidence in the management of urothelial carcinoma by facilitating the integration of the latest scientific evidence into routine clinical practice.

This programme is also intended for healthcare professionals from other medical and nursing specialties who wish to update their knowledge of advanced urothelial carcinoma management, develop their skills in the critical appraisal of scientific evidence, and strengthen its application in clinical practice.

All online modules are available throughout the programme, allowing participants to progress at their own pace. The recordings of the educational sessions are provided in their original Spanish language with English subtitles to facilitate access for an international audience.

Three live online sessions will be delivered on a monthly basis, focusing on the critical appraisal of recent scientific literature and its application to clinical practice.

Schedule: September, October and November 2026.
Duration: 90 minutes per session.

To complement the live sessions, the programme includes three on-demand online learning modules aligned with the webinar content. Each module has an estimated duration of one hour and includes expert-led video lectures, summaries of key concepts, practical infographics and self-assessment activities.

Senior Researcher at the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) and Associate Professor at UVic-UCC. She has extensive experience in the design, coordination and evaluation of educational programmes for healthcare professionals.

Accreditation has been requested from the Catalan Council for Continuing Education of the Health Professions (CCFCPS) / Continuing Education Commission of the Spanish National Health System (CFC-SNS).

This is a Spanish national accreditation and does not correspond to European CME/CPD accreditation.

The awarded credits are intended exclusively for licensed healthcare professionals in clinical practice. Healthcare professionals undertaking specialist training (medical residents) are not eligible for accreditation.
